Watch Live Camera Footage of Hurricane Florence
The Frying Pan Ocean Cam is located off the coast of the Carolina's. It is a 24/7 live camera that monitors the live nature in that area.
It is just 34 miles off the coast. Right now, it is taking on the full brunt of Hurricane Florence. Just watching the flag being thrown around shows you the power of Florence's wind.
As far as sound goes, all you hear is wind but it's still a fascinating watch to see how a hurricane is without being in danger.
If you have friends or relatives that live in the area, we hope they got out safe and sound.
Florence, as of this writing, is a Category 2 hurricane. But it is about 400 miles wide and could bring about 50 inches of rain at it's initial landfall.
It is a very strong, slow moving, storm that could hang around through the weekend.
