Brookshire's Grocery Company is lending a helping hand to those in great need in Southeast Texas.

They've trucked 250,000 bottles of water to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Trucks from Tyler left Wednesday, Aug. 30, for the Houston Food Bank and the City of Angleton in Brazoria County.

Several supply drives are going on all across Northeast Texas, and in our immediate area to send aid to those who have lost so much.

While we are sure you want to help, please make sure that you are working with a reputable agency when you make your donations.

Unfortunately in times of great need, some see an opportunity to take advantage of the generosity of others.
