East Texas Shelter Urgently Needs Bottled Water Donations

We all know that it has been hot lately here in East Texas. It's something we've come to expect each year. But currently we need to do everything possible to look out for our friends and neighbors during this stretch of extreme heat. And our neighbors at Hiway 80 Rescue Mission are looking for donations of cases of bottled water as the heat continues to climb.

Hiway 80 Rescue Mission is a place where homeless and hurting people across East Texas can experience life transformation through Christ. They help countless people who are in need, and currently they need water bottles so they can continue to provide for those in need.

Who Hiway 80 Rescue Mission Serves

The nonprofit first began in 1955, but now Hiway runs shelters to assist men, women and families in Tyler, Longview and Marshall who are going through a difficult time. Hiway offers different recovery and community outreach services.

If you'd like to help with their current need of water bottles, the best thing to do would be to purchase whatever you would like to donate and drop them off to one of three facilities during business hours.

Longview Men's Shelter — 3117 W. Marshall Ave., Longview, TX 75604
