We're already seeing it as the weather gets warmer in East Texas, the many motorcycle enthusiasts riding around. Inside the city limits, this isn't much of an issue. But for those on a country road, there could be a big, and dangerous problem ahead, grass clippings in the road.
It is possible to get a ticket for doing this as it could be considered littering (codes.findlaw.com). Leaving your grass clippings in the roadway can also be a hazard for a motorcycle rider. The grass can be wet which can make that blacktop road like a sheet of ice for the rider. It could cause a crash with possible serious, or even fatal, injuries.
