I’ve heard of restaurants like these in various locations across the country, in fact there are some already set up in the great state of Texas. But it sounds like a new Karen is soon coming to the Austin, Texas area.

Karen’s Diner is set up almost identical to Dick’s Last Resort, where you’re greeted and waited on by employees offering the “world’s rudest service”. While the customer service might not be the best, this type of dinner and show has become very popular recently as just something new to try out. And if you visit the Karen's Diner website to find out more about coming to Austin, TX you will see that most people say this is the most fun you’ll ever have while eating some burgers.

The Service is Rude But the Menu Looks Good

While I have not visited a restaurant like this that offers rude customer service, I have had friends that have gone and said the whole experience was hilarious and the staff kept the laughs going throughout the entire meal. The menu is classic American food with burgers costing between $16-$25.

Remember They Are Rude, You Are Not Rude

According to Culture Map, when you visit Karen’s Diner which will be popping up soon, but no exact details are out regarding when or where they will be setting up in Austin, remember to be nice. This is all about having some fun and not meant to hurt anyone’s feelings. Don’t be that person that gets out of line with the staff. At Karen’s remember to “Just sit down, shut up, eat your food and bring on the banter.”
