(KNUE-FM) There seems to be a lot of smoke in the air when it comes to the conversation regarding cannabis in Texas. There are strong opinions on both sides whether it would be a positive or negative thing for the Lone Star State. And while I am not here to change anyone’s mind either way, I think it’s funny that we have so many celebrities from Texas who love marijuana, so I thought it would be fun to create the Mount Rushmore of Marijuana for Texas.

Well Known Texas Marijuana Supporters

When I started thinking about this idea, it didn’t take long to think of the first couple names that should be on the list. But it’s almost difficult to narrow it down to just four of the most outspoken Texans who are big supporters of weed.

But I can promise you will recognize everyone I put on my list for the Mount Rushmore of marijuana in Texas.

My Opinion on Marijuana Legalization in Texas

This one is difficult for me, because I don’t think you should tell another grown adult what they can and cannot do if it doesn’t hurt anyone else. This could also bring big tax dollars to Texas.

At the same time, I have family who live in states that have legalized, and I think it’s very inconsiderate when people are at a park and light up. Have some consideration and don’t smoke around kids.
