‘Movies In The Park’ Features ‘True Grit’ – May 5 at Bergfeld Park
What's better than watching a movie in the park? Watching the movie "True Grit" in the park! The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department continues the 2012 Spring Movies in the Park Series on Saturday, May 5 with a free viewing of “True Grit” in the Bergfeld Park amphitheater in Tyler at 8 p.m.
Starring John Wayne, “True Grit” tells the story from the view of fourteen-year-old Mattie Ross who is joined by a U.S. marshal and another lawman in tracking her father’s killer into Indian territory.
Come dressed as your best cowboy or cowgirl, cause there's a "best cowboy look" contest at 7:30 p.m.!
The next "Movie in the Park" will be "How to Train a Dragon" on Saturday, May 19th!
