The eight bundles of drugs were found by border patrol agents after searching her vehicle and finding the packages in the front fender.

The total value of the drugs that were seized is approximately $90,000.

After Prison There Are More Consequences

As if giving up 10 years of your life isn’t enough, Segovia will also have other consequences after finishing her federal prison sentence. At that point she will be handed over to immigration services where she will face being deported.

So often you see on TV or the movies how someone smuggles drugs and has a chance to make large amounts of money. This is real life proof that if you attempt to smuggle drugs into the United States you will be caught and could face years in prison.

Let this be a lesson to everyone, that smuggling or dealing drugs in Texas is a horrible idea and comes with very serious consequences.
