The Texas Rangers annual winter caravan will be in Tyler tonight at Whataburger on South Beckham from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Relief pitchers Jesse Chavez and Nick Goody will be on hand to meet you and sign autographs.

The Rangers finished third in the AL West division last season with 78-94 record.

It's been an interesting off season for the Rangers. They surprised everyone by trading fan favorite Nomar Mazara to the Chicago White Sox. But they have also made some good signings, too, with a one year deal to retain power hitter Joey Gallo and bringing back Robinson Chirinos to catch after a year with the Houston Astros.

The Rangers added two time Cy Young award winner Cory Kluber in a trade with the Cleveland Indians to join the Rangers pitching staff.

The Rangers are also moving into a brand new stadium across the street from their former home. Globe Life Field will open this season and feature, among many amenities, a retractable roof.

It could be an interesting year for Texas Rangers fans.
