Tyler ISD Holding Bus Driver Hiring Event For Upcoming School Year

If you are looking for a new job and love kids Tyler ISD is looking for new bus drivers to safely transport their students for the 2020-2021 school year.

The hiring event will take place on Thursday (July 16th) at John Tyler High School parking lot located at 1120 N NW Loop 323 in Tyler.

To become a bus driver you must have the following:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
• Demonstrate interest in and aptitude for work to be performed
• Ability to grow professionally
• Desire and ability to work with students, staff and other bus drivers
• Current Commercial Driver's License and bus driver certification
• Negative mandatory OTETA test
• Pass mandatory TEA.DOT physical
• Acceptable driving/criminal history
