More family fun is coming to Tyler. This weekend (Saturday, Oct. 20 and Sunday, Oct. 21) Tyler's Bergfeld Park will be the site of East Texas' annual Tyler Rose Festival Arts and Crafts Fair.

Tyler is home to a major rose industry and for 85 years we have proudly celebrated our famous roses with elegance, grace and lots of roses.

This year's celebration kicks off on Oct. 18 at the Tyler Rose Garden Center with a ribbon cutting and prayer, followed by days filled with the queen's coronation and tea, a parade and an arts and crafts fair.

The fair will be at Bergfeld Park and will open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Additionally there will be a “date night” movie at 7 p.m. on Saturday with "The Greatest Showman." Admission is free to the public. The Kids’ Zone and concessions will be available for a fee.
