East Texas Has the Best Excuses for Being Late to Work

We all know that life is different here in East Texas. And most of us enjoy it that way. We don't want to be like Dallas, Houston, and definitely not like Austin. While each of those locations can be fun to visit, life in East Texas is a little slower and to me that is more enjoyable.

But because things are a little different here in East Texas, we deal with different struggles than being in a big city. For example, the reasons that we might be late for work might be drastically different than what people in the big cities are dealing with.

Now don't get me wrong, there are certain people that will be late no matter what. And no, I am not calling YOU out specifically, although if you feel offended, maybe it's time to start working on making sure you show up on time.
