Free Thanksgiving Dinner for East Texas Veterans and Family

We all enjoy so many freedoms on a daily basis living here in Texas, and that is because of so many brave men and women who fought for our freedoms. Which is why I am always happy to help spread the word on any event that shows support for our veterans. 

While I was doing a live broadcast from the Gilmer Yamboree I was approached to assist in sharing the details about a Free Thanksgiving Dinner for Veterans and their families. Obviously, I wanted as many details as possible so I could let as many people know as possible. 

When and Where Will the Thanksgiving Dinner Take Place? 

The 4th annual Free Thanksgiving dinner is being put on by the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 5:00pm.  

The free dinner will take place at the Disabled American Veterans Building across from Walmart in Gilmer, Texas. The exact address is 1115 US Hwy 271 N, Gilmer, TX 75644. 

There Will Be More Than Just Delicious Food 

While everyone seems really excited about the upcoming annual event, families who attend will be in for more than just a dinner. There will be door prizes and a silent auction also taking place.
