Time is clearly flying, but believe it or not, the second Saturday of February is almost upon us, and that means it's once again time for 'Hit the Bricks' in downtown Tyler Saturday, February 8, from approximately 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Offerings include crafting vintage Valentine cards at the Goodman-LeGrand House, pottery workshops on the second floor of Moss a treasure hunt, American Sign Language classes at the Tyler Public Library, 'Casablanca' is showing at the Liberty Hall, live music at ETX Brewing Co., and so much more.

Of course, the downtown area restaurants are always a delicious destination and I it seems there are more and more to choose from every month. On top of the that, the Rose City Farmers' Market is hosting a winter market that offers "locally grown leafy greens, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, loads of root crops, and micro-greens. Pasture-raised beef, chicken, and pork, artisan baked treats, jams and jellies, and apothecary goodies will be available too."

This is such a fun way to spend time in one of our downtown communities, eat amazing food and shop from local businesses. See the full schedule of activities, check out the restaurants, and browse more options here.

Hope to see you there to engage with one of our local East Texas communities, hang with friends, and make some memories.
