Thanking the Behind-the-Scenes Crew at Tyler PD

I was browsing through my Facebook feed today, trudging through all of the last snow pics and videos taken in East Texas, and came across Tyler Police Department's post. Our first responders certainly aren't appreciated as much as they should be, so let's all take a moment to thank them. And then, let's take another moment to think about who was taking ALL of our phone calls this week.

According to Tyler PD, over 2,300 phone calls were made in two days requesting police, fire fighters and EMS. That's a HUGE workload and it's not even counting all of their radio traffic for all first responders during a weather emergency.

So, even if it's just a comment, please save a big thank you for the 911 Communications Crew in Tyler, Texas.
