It’s that magical time of year where the temperatures aren’t so hot anymore here in Texas. Football is on, and we are quickly approaching my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. 

While this year has been a struggle for many of us, we still have so much to be thankful for, hopefully that includes family that you will be able to spend time with on Thanksgiving. It’s all about family, a little bit of football, and a whole lot of food.

Everyone normally has so many of the same dishes for the big Thanksgiving meal which includes turkey, cornbread dressing, and so many other side dishes I would be here all day listing them.

But What About a Few Appetizers Before Dinner? 

If your family was anything like mine, Thanksgiving was a day that massive food consumption happened pretty much all day long. We often had appetizers that would start making their way out of the refrigerator before noon.  

But if you’re not exactly sure what to create this year as far as appetizers, we have some delicious ideas just for you.

Everyone loves the big Thanksgiving dinner, so don’t put all of your time into creating a gigantic spread of appetizers. You’re going to be busy, just select a few and if you can prepare them in advance that makes your Thanksgiving even less hectic.
