Listen to James Carothers in the Studio with Big D and Bubba

James Carothers is a new country artist who has come on the scene with an entertaining song about the newest country music. It's not a knock on new country it's just that some of the scenarios that are sung in newer tunes are just not that realistic.

Here's something interesting about James, he worked at Los Alamos National Lab as a mechanical technician. This dude is pretty smart. But he credits his wife with getting him into singing country music. She's pretty smart, herself.

He talked about some of his influences including Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson and offered up some pretty good impressions of those icons.

If you're a fan of traditional country, you will like his music. One of his other tunes is called "Back To Hank".

This James Carothers guy is pretty darn good.
