Playing a round of golf has never been a favorite of mine, probably because I am horrible at golfing, but putt-putt golf is another story. There is something so incredibly fun about playing putt-putt golf no matter your age or skill level. Which is why I love the idea of having a putt-putt fundraiser for the Longview, Texas public library.

The event is taking place this Saturday, August 12 from Noon until 4:00p.m. with the cost of a round being $10 per person. Staff and helpers will be transforming the entire library into a 19-hole putt-putt course, obviously you’re encouraged to bring your friends and family to have some fun and see who the best is at reading the green or at least gain some bragging rights for the day.

Where Will the Proceeds Go?

The $10 fee will go to keep the free monthly programs available for kids and adults, they are also hoping to add equipment and facility upgrades and purchase some new books and library materials.
